Mini Musketeers:
The Mini Musketeers class will teach fencing concepts in a playful manner. Children will enjoy various age-appropriate games that introduce footwork, point control, and fundamental bladework techniques. (Ages 4-6)
Beginner Group Lessons:
Introduction to Fencing Basics
The classes will emphasize grasping beginner-level footwork and bladework through various drills and games. Participants will also be taught the safety measures and rules of the game in an enjoyable and interactive setting. Youth & Teen (Ages 7-17) and Adult & Teen (Ages 15-99+)
Developmental Group Lessons: Developing Fencing Concepts
In our classes, we will emphasize the significance of mastering the fundamentals while also introducing new concepts. This includes new techniques in bladework, footwork, tempo/timing, and strategy. Youth & Teen (Ages 7-17)
Pre-Competitive Group: Intermediate Fencing Concepts
In our pre-competitive group, the emphasis will be on advancing skills and strategies essential for local level competitions. Weekly private lessons are recommended during this phase to enhance progress. Youth & Teen (Ages 7-17)
Competitive Group: Advanced Fencing Techniques
Our competitive fencing group is dedicated to enhancing training for athletes who compete at regional and national levels. To ensure maximum progress, fencers are expected to attend all training sessions. It is recommended to have 1-2 private lessons per week. Youth & Teen (Ages 7-17) and Collegiate Fencers
Adult Group: Social and Competitive Adults
The adult group is available to individuals aged 18 and above, following completion of a beginner session or private lessons. During the lesson, we will emphasize skill enhancement, with the remainder of the class dedicated to open fencing. Participants in this group are encouraged to attend both the adult beginner session and the two-hour adult group session. Adults (18&up)

Longsword & Viking Age Combat
Introduction to Longsword
Hey there Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) enthusiasts!
Are you interested in participating in HEMA, and desire a smooth introduction into the world of sword fighting? You’re in luck! Fates Fencing Academy has invited L’Arte Lehigh Valley Instructors to run an eight week Beginners Longsword Course. Over eight classes you’ll experience the fundamentals of Italian Longsword.
Viking Age Combat
Learn to fight with the shield and weap onsof warriors from the Viking age. Experienced Instructors of Historical European Martial Arts and Viking Reenactment will guide your through this engaging class over eight weeks.
All fencing equipment needed will be provided. Please make sure to wear athletic shoes and comfortable gym clothes.
After School Introduction to Fencing
We are currently working with area schools to bring beginner fencing classes once a week to your school.
